Application Process

All international students who wish to attend Cumberland College should apply using the following steps.

Certificate and Diploma Program Application Process:

Step 1: Complete the Cumberland College Application Form

Complete the online application form on the Cumberland College website.

Step 2: Transcripts/English Language Proficiency Testing Results

You will need to arrange for your transcripts (Secondary and All Post-Secondary), along with your English Language Proficiency testing results, to be sent directly from the institutions and testing centre to:

international@saskcolleges.ca

You can provide copies of your transcripts to start with via email so that your application can be processed more quickly.

Step 3: Application Fees

Forward payment of your $140 CAD application & transcript assessment fee by money order to Cumberland College, by PayPal send to dbansley@cumberlandcollege.sk.ca, by flywire as www.flywire.com, or contact 306-752-2786 to pay by credit card.

Step 4: Offer and Acceptance Letters

If you are meet the academic and English language requirements, you will receive an official letter of offer from Cumberland College.  This letter will set a deadline for payment of the tuition deposit (50% of tuition, only refundable if study permit is refused).

Once the tuition deposit is paid, an official letter of acceptance will be issued.  If you have admission questions contact Kristy Sletten.

Step 5: Study Permit

Apply for a Canada Study Permit at the Canadian Embassy if you plan to study for more than 6 months. The official letter of acceptance must be included with your study permit application. You should make the study permit application at least three months before the start of classes to allow adequate time for processing. View information on the study permit process here.
