Take the next step towards a university degree! Enroll in the Indigenous Access and Transition Education Certificate (IATEC) program offered at James Smith Cree Nation starting January 2022. This 8-month program offered in partnership with First Nations University of Canada (FNUC) will prepare you for success in post-secondary education.

All IATEC courses are 3-credit university courses recognized through the University of Regina’s Centre for Continuing Education.
Please note: Students will be considered full-time if they enroll in all of the courses and the corresponding tutorial/study sessions.
An Information Session is planned for November 17, 2021 starting at 1 pm at the James Smith Training Centre. Anyone interested in learning more about the program is encouraged to attend!
To become a student at Cumberland College and FNUC you must first apply to the University of Regina. The IATEC program application deadline is Dec 16, 2021.
