In keeping with the mission, vision and values of the College, the new logo represents forward thinking and movement. The color combinations found in the horizontal triangles are representative of the region with:
- BLUE for the expansive prairie sky which signifies endless learning opportunity,
- GOLD for the prairies which represents the rich opportunity of education, and
- GREEN for growth and learning.

The slogan, “Above and Beyond”, signifies Cumberland College’s effort to be the preferred choice for adult education and training in North East Saskatchewan. The new logo and slogan are a reflection of the College’s mission “to provide excellent lifelong learning opportunities today that prepare individuals and communities for tomorrow.”
