This course is intended to assist students to prepare to write the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK) Limited Power Engineering (Fireman’s Certificate) exam.
Topics include: Low pressure heat boilers, fuel and firing equipment, automatic controls, pumps, piping fittings, valves, steam and hot water heating, ventilation, basic electricity, and the Boiler Pressure Vessel Act and Regulations.
This is not a graded course; students receive confirmation of attendance from Cumberland College. NOTE: Registration deadline is 1 week prior to course start date. Minimum enrollment is required to run all Continuing Studies classes. Full payment or sponsorship is required to secure your spot in the class.

PLEASE NOTE: This course is not eligible for a T2202A tax slip. Courses must be a minimum of 10 hours classroom study per week for a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks to qualify.
