Application Process

All international students who wish to attend Cumberland College should apply using the following steps.

Trades & Technical Program Application Process

Step 1: Complete the Cumberland College Application Form

Complete the online application form on the Cumberland College website.

Step 2: Acceptance Letter

If you are accepted, you will receive an official letter of acceptance from Cumberland College.  If you have admission questions contact the registrar, Rebecca Cross, at rcross@cumberlandcollege.sk.ca

Step 3: Study Permit

Apply for a Canada Study Permit at the Canadian Embassy if you plan to study for more than 6 months. The official letter of acceptance must be included with your study permit application. You should make the study permit application at least three months before the start of classes to allow adequate time for processing. View information on the study permit process here.

Step 4: Transcripts/English Language Proficiency Testing Results

You will need to arrange for your transcripts (Secondary and All Post-Secondary), along with your English Language Proficiency testing results, to be sent directly from the institutions and testing centre to:

Step 5: Application Fees

Forward payment of your $120 CAD application fee by money order to Cumberland College.  Or contact 306-752-2786 to pay by credit card.

University Application Process

Step 1: Apply to University of Saskatchewan OR University of Regina

University of Saskatchewan:

Apply online to the University of Saskatchewan

When completing the form, choose the College of Arts and Science. When asked on the form if you would like to study at another location, type in “Cumberland College”. You should also make arrangements to pay the $90 CAD application fee, which can be paid online via credit card when you apply. You will need to arrange for your transcripts (Secondary and All Post-Secondary), along with your English Language Proficiency testing results, to be sent directly from the institutions and testing centre to:

Step 2: Apply to Cumberland College
