Creating Effective Work Groups

In this professional seminar, you will learn the fundamental tools and skills that support effective project management.  Topics include project initiation, planning, controlling, implementing, and closing.  You will examine the role of the project manager with respect to team, client, and stakeholder communications; common project management terminology; and how to apply project planning and control techniques to the workplace.

This seminar is a part of the Professional Leadership Certificate offered through the University of Regina. Should there be enough interest, 5 core seminars + 2 elective seminars may be offered to allow students the opportunity to receive the Certificate.  The Professional Leadership Certificate will provide you with increased awareness and understanding of leadership and will enable you to become a more effective, evolved leader.
