Certificates & Diplomas

Whether you are interested in a career in business or health-related fields, Cumberland College has a number of certificates and diplomas to choose!  Most of our programs are accredited from Sask Polytech and are geared towards the current employment needs of Saskatchewan.

Apply as soon as possible because many of these programs fill up quickly!  If you don't meet the entrance requirements, you may be admitted through a special admission assessment called ACCUPLACER if there is evidence you could be successful. Contact one of the College Advisors to get more information about ACCUPLACER.

To apply for one of Cumberland College's Certificate or Diploma programs you need to:

The First Qualified/First Admitted (FQFA) process is used for most of these Certificate & Diploma Programs.  This means that you can submit your application at any time, and it is considered for the upcoming start date for the program. When we determine you meet the program's admission requirements, you will be offered admission.

However, the Practical Nursing program is high-demand, as such, applications will only be accepted up until the deadline. All supporting documentation is required by that deadline.  High-demand programs have admission requirements plus additional selection criteria. Admission requirements set the minimum academic standard required for success in a program. The selection criteria for high-demand programs are broader than academic requirements. Examples of potential selection criteria include interviews, career explorations and work or volunteer experience.
